Appendix 2. Open Beta / Early Access Products
All products marked under the Open Beta category are released in a work in progress state. IRIS Open Beta / Early Access products have all the essential systems and procedures in place to allow you to operate the aircraft as intended, though some aspects of the final product may still be in development or not introduced at the time of purchase.
Above all, when you purchase an Open Beta / Early Access product, you’re purchasing the product in the state that it is purchased. Look at screenshots, videos to see what the product looks like and if it is something you wish to purchase. There are a lot of ways a product can change during Open Beta / Early Access, so if you’re not enthusiastic about purchasing at the moment, hold off until the next update, or until the final release version.
- How often is the Open Beta / Early Access updated?
Open Beta products are updated regularly and information on when a product is updated is available via the IRIS social media feeds at www.facebook.com/irissimulations
- When will the final product be ready?
The timescale for launch of the product is decided by the development team and based on feedback from customers in the Open Beta / Early Access and our own scheduled road map for release. As such, this process differs from product to product.
